Our Growing Practices

All seeds and tubers were grown on our land in Camas, Washington. We add organic matter and fertilizer to supplement the soil as needed.  Proper sanitization methods are used at all times. I sanitize my clippers between each plant when pruning/cutting foliage and flowers. Plants are culled at the first questionable sign of disease. I am very open regarding our growing methods on my instagram page (sugarandspicer_farm).

Tubers

Pruners are sanitized between each clump of tubers when dividing. I am very open regarding my methods on my instagram page (sugarandspicer_farm). You will only receive tuber(s) that are in excellent condition and have at least one visible eye. I plan to ship tubers in April 2024. If you need them sooner, please inquire through email (jessica@sugarandspicerfarm.com).

Farm Pick-Up

Pick-up is available for bouquets. If you would like to place an order, please email me at jessica@sugarandspicerfarm.com and we can plan a farm pick-up time. If you did not choose to pay for bouquet delivery for your subscription bouquet order, you will be notified of your farm pick-up days via email.

Claims

Please inspect your tubers immediately as you receive them in the mail.  They should not be left in a box nor in a sealed bag. Once they are in your hands, Sugar and Spicer Farm is not responsible for losses due to inadequate storage methods, pests, weather, poor growing conditions, or neglect.

Stock Loss

If for any reason we experience stock loss and cannot fulfill your order, you will be contacted via email and refunded.
